Sounds more like a random employee (maybe even only for that show) feeling important talking things he might have heard, maybe only parts of them.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around why you would want ANOVOS (or Global Effects, or whoever) to make a single suit of one-off armor for Episode 8 when you have Pinewood/PropShop right there in the UK, pretty much in the backyard of the production. Seems like an odd choice, especially since if the one-off is lost or damaged in a stunt, accident, or the actor just keeling over, you have to stop the shooting schedule to either repair it or get a new one made half a world away.

I wondered that myself especially because he stated that her suit was not going to be changed though he did say that the episode 7 suit did take some good damage. If this is true or not time will tell and if it turns out to be true this could be big. Not really sure though why someone would make something up like that. Maybe there is some sort of truth in there and maybe anovos will do some stuff for episode 8.

How did the production vader helmet look. I was going to get a quasi or darth ugly but now I want to see what the anovos vader will actually look like

I will post photos of it when I get home. But it looked very nice for what it is. The employee I was chatting with did state that elements from all 3 vader helmets were used into making it but leans more towards ESB and ROTJ and stated that on the up coming outfit there will be a button on the suit that will change the pattern of the colors to variations between ESB vader and ROTJ vader which was really cool but the helmet will not be spot on to 1 specific vader helmet as elements from all 3 were used to make it.

Kylo looked good and this is not a knock as I'm sure it's accurate, but the flat rough finish made it seem toyish. Again, I'm sure the real deal looks the same.

CLR: Thank you very much the FO Tie Pilot pics. Absolutely the best trooper design of the the new movies.
Too bad about the no pass line. Hoped for some side and back pics.

please note everyone that a lot of the stuff is still prototypes thus there is still room and time to change stuff.

Only Anovos helmet that was final product was the vader.

Also for the vader EFX Gino did tell me that though it is going to be a unlimited run they will most likely sell in batches thus once the material runs out it may be a while until you are able to purchase it again thus purchase ASAP

With the vader there being a final product, did anovos people there say when they expect it to ship out. I would think with them having the final product it would be shipping soonish.

I believe they said within a month or 2 but don't quote me on that. I will ask them today. I did ask what was up with all the vader delays and they said it was a waiting for final approvals. In a way kinda made sense since vader is one of the most iconic characters in star wars but still doesn't justify 2 years.

I was really hoping they would show a OT Tie Helmet, concerned that they didn't. Going on a year delay now and no pics. Oh but here's a FO tie pilot costume :unsure

For the new efx Vader helmets, what makes them look different than the fiberglass helmets up close? Are the seams noticeable?

Hey guys so due to a emergency I had to leave the con early today and was unable to get any more photos other then a few more of the EFX back to the future time circuit.

So I went onto Anovos page to pull the trigger on the FO tie pilot and what do you know not only have they recently raised their shipping prices once again but now they are charging taxes so the $552 helmet is now over $600 before shipping.

Now all of this would be acceptable if they would at least let us know but yet again many of us have heard nothing from our opened tickets and I haven't seen a newsletter from them in a while. I think the part that makes me upset is that they do not even let us the customers know about these changes they simply are saying here is the pill now swallow it.

Unfortunately now the helmet is too pricey for me and will not be moving forward with it and possibly any other item from them due to these last minute changes.

I also learned some very unsettling information about Anovos and the way they have conducted business with their "partners" today which makes me worry about what other changes we will see from them in the near future

I'd sure love to hear about that. Been trying to tell people Anovos is shady. But no one seems to want to listen
