Uncharted 2: Among Theives

"The Explorer's Edition of Uncharted 3 brandishes a wooden travel case that's produced to "a premium quality" in an antique style. The case has space for 19 PS3 games. They're not included.

Also included is a replica of Nathan Drake's belt buckle, which is "wearable", and a full-size replica of Drake's necklace strap that holds Sir Francis Drake's ring.

On top of all that, you'll get a Nathan Drake statue (not full-size), the Special Edition journal-styled game box case and a voucher for various bits of digital content."

Thats just talking about the LOOK of the steelbook though I see where the confusion might have occurred.
From what I've found, the only thing they are getting that we aren't is a nicer looking case (travel bag) which according to the australian link below, can hold 19 PS3 games.

apparently australia gets that version too

It's been mentioned before (possibly here) that I've done a couple of these journals.
Truth told, I have three that are progressing nicely but would BE finished if I hadn't had a family tragedy at the beginning of the year.
As I've progressed and gained newer, more detailed images/information, I've made revisions to the newer ones. My first one looks a bit ugly these days and is the LEAST accurate.
I'm NOT doing a run of these.. just to be clear. The ones I'm doing are for myself and my online clan. We lost a member (my youngest brother) in January and the second journal was to be his. I've only JUST started the fourth one and it's not anywhere near ready to show.
I'm going to show one set of pages in particular.

so, no.. I didn't find a cheap horde of coins or anything like that.. I used a cheap (somewhat effective) trick to cast single sided multiples. They aren't perfect and in fact they all have some flaws but it gets me where I need. A shot of silver spraypaint and a wash of India ink later and they're looking decent. :lol
I'm working on altering a novelty oversized nickel into the dubloon... we'll see how that turns out.

Here are my journals. I made 2, one to sell and one to keep. The first one is my test book and the second one is better quality stuff. It's all still a work in progress, I still have to put in the pictures and what not and do final shading and all that good stuff..... Let me know what you all think

Coming along nicely!

Can someone please tell me how to resize the journal pages in photoshop? I pretty much just use paint so I have no idea what to do. Thanks

Thanks for the support guys!!! Can't wait till its done!!!
I think I have about 3 weeks of work (not straight obviously) but that's
how long it took to get where I'm at.... I have not sold it yet but I have lots
of interest in it.... Doesn't mean it will sell but hey who knows someone
is bound to want it

Still having issues on the last 12 pages.... Trying everything I can think of but for some reason the color just doesn't come out I'll post pics later

As far as Photoshop goes I have no idea I don't use any type of editing like that I just use the program that came with my moms photo printer.. Good luck I'm sure someone here can help you

I might want it if I cant figure out a way to get my images sized up and weather the pages. How did you do yours?

The screencaps of the journal pages. But I was actually asking how you did the weathering on the pages.

Well Darth Saber said to use sepia ink but I couldn't find that so instead I found some walnut ink from Joann's... It worked pretty well. All I did was mixed it 1 part ink to 4 parts water (somewhere in that area) put it in a spray bottle and sprayed it onto a folded paper towel.

I saved the photos from Darth Sabers journal and in my moms printing program ( hp photosmart premier) or something like that, it has a way before you print the page out you scale it down....

Ok I'll try to get some walnut ink. I have sepia but I couldnt get it to work for some reason.

So I went into photoshop and clicked on image size. But the pictures I got have more then just the journal page and arent even straight so they cant be cropped and to get the image right its going to take like an hour per picture and I know everyone who made the journal didnt do that. Someone help me please

Hit the select menu, then all, then the edit menu, then transform, then rotate.

To crop use the area select button (looks like a square made of dotted lines) start in one corner then drag it to the opposite corner then release, go to the Image menu and hit crop.

Ok I hope this works.

Today Im going to try weathering my pages again and hopefully get my screencaps sized up. If all goes well I will have some pics of my progress by tonight!

try changing the date on your computer, :lol you'd be surprised at how easily most programs are fooled by that trick.
