As far as I know, with a bluray reader on a PC, it is doable.

Finding the low res ones was tough enough.

I've been taking screen caps for some things from videos on youtube.

In my searches for reference and hi-res pics of the journal, I stumbled across this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939_German_expedition_to_Tibet

I didn't realise Schäfer was a real person or that the nazis had sent an expedition to Tibet (though I'm not surprised). The real Schäfer died in '92 but if we wanna fudge it and claim he lived until 09, it works for me.
I'm probably going to include pics from the expedition in my journal, after the pages seen in-game. The pics are now in my photobucket account.

Im working on the passport visa, I found a couple of highrez picture of a real one and are doing a little photoshop work to edit the names and such stuff. It will look great.

I also found a oil lamp that has almost the same design as the one in the photo. Im going to see if i can't make it look like the game one, then take a photo of it to match the game one.

This looks great. I have never played the game but I love adventure stories set with historical and geographical facts. I love exploration diaries and journals and maps.

I have been searching for a true pic of the green jade lamp. No luck yet. It says something on the photo or postcard in the upper right corner; "Yuan Dynasty _____ Lamp". Not sure.

Look half way down on the left. The Windhorse Prayer Flag on the green (for air) color. Hope this helps. I have a Tibetan neighbor.

Here is a copy of the Tibetan Prayer Flag - Windhorse. I bought one and scanned it into my computer. I cleaned it up a little bit.

I was thinking of buying some green cotton clothe like these are on and printing this onto an iron on.

Any updates on your journal. I saw the games listed in the new Entertainment Weekly year review.
