The helmet is really cool. The wings look great and the battle worn look is perfect.
I really like the spats though. I think they make the costume. It gives it a WWII uniform look. I bought a pair last fall and wore a WWII Cap costume for halloween.

@patron thank you so much bro!! The helmet and mask could not have come out better. As for the spats they were a little small so I had to split them and add extra canvas. I hated to do it but hey they wouldn't fit!!

You got me energized lol I'm going to work on my Cap WWII version and modify it a bit I'll post some pics soon.
My brother and I have watched war movies since we were kids, even the old Combat tv show so I'm going to ask him for ideas also. Definitely time to get my Band of Brothers dvd set out lol

Sweet I can't wait to see your progress. I've gotten so wrapped up in this captain costume that I've got myself dupped into doing a Ultimates Modern costume. Im doing the tunic armored scale version. Stupid costumes. Its an addiction. Thanks and im glad the costume was an inspiration.
@dbalschi it was my intention to ware it to MCComic Con but money might be a little tight to make the drive and afford admission. We will see how the week goes.

Hey bro I sent you an email. We have alot of irons in the fire and just picked up a local haunted house as an account. Im not sure with the modern Ultimates Cap Suit we will be doing the movie mask. Its not like we cant do it or we don't have the time (we could have it done well before the premier) but unless we are commissioned or there is enough honest intrest I don't see it in our future.

Lookin lethal man i loved that opening story in ultimates 1
class costume keep it up.
lets hope the movies good too, i've a feeling its gona be like wolverine, a disappointment, hopefully not.

This is my favorite costume!
Im hoping the Movie will be better than Thor, which was a little better than ok (IMO) but I have High hopes for the Cap Movie!! Iron Man set the bar pretty high!

Hey Guys,
I was bored waiting on the photoshoot for this costume as it is pretty much complete so I took an extra cast that we had laying around and gave it a quick mod!
I cut off the nose and expanded out the eyes, gave it a more modern look! I think it completly changed the look of the mask. I love the detail of Mallie's sculpt but the nose and goggle style looked off in blue, due to the nature of this mask, LOL!!
So this is what i came up with , try to make this mold kill 2 birds!!

Love the mask! Very cool. Not a fan of the chest armor. Seems a little comical and bulky. The rest of it is great though. Love the weathering.

The chest is actually not as bulky as it looks!! Plus there has been some work that has gone on since my last update!
