UK bans the import of *anything remotely harmful*...

OMFG - it goes from bad to worse...

An appeal to our US cousins: we stood by you in Iraq and Afghanistan, so will you now please come to our aid and liberate us from these idiots? You may start with a place called Downing Street. Thermobaric weapons should do the trick, we have a lot of nice statues in the area and we don't want them damaged.

This is a perfect example of why Americans have been fighting "reasonable gun control" forever. If one gives an inch, the well-meaning but "commonsenseless" take a mile.

You've just committed a terrorist act eagle with what you've posted!

Next stop Abu Graibe for you.

I just got my MR Stormtrooper blaster and am really happy the customs employee is my student...:)

won't be long before they ban the import of T shirts with anything that looks dangerous on them to the UK :cry

What you want is a Nutron Bomb, kills the people leaves the buildings.

I think with gas prices going up faster than the Shuttle we will be fighting over that soon too.

Have the sender spray-paint it pink before shipping. No way in hell it'll be looked at as anything other than a prop.

And people wonder why it's called the "Nanny state"...

You know somebody in the uk was refused entry onto a plane flight a few weeks ago because his tee had a picture of an AK47 on the front :thumbsdown

Wasn't it a guy with a transformers tee-shirt and he was told it was a security risk because the character was holding a gun and they forced him to change shirts before letting him through security ? or is this another one ?

Actually, it was a picture of a Frakkin TRANSFORMER!!!! They objected to Optimus Prime holding a gun.... totally sick.

yep that was true!!! (sorry took to long writing.)

in the paper today an 81 year old was refused entry to his local because he was wearing a flat cap! because it was reminiscent of a "gangster style"

I really despair to see what our country has become, I mean its easier to own a shotgun than it is to own a airsoft gun. My friends dad has firearm certificates for all kinds of rifles but can he buy his son his first AEG NO!

and to make matters worse its easier to get a handgun on London's streets than it ever was before mmmmm maybe customs might want to start checking the heavy creates coming in from eastern europe and not the light boxes coming in from hong kong!

and to think all those props ive now missed out on...

best get off my behind and start playing airsoft again.

sorry for the rant (maybe slightly OT)

Dan

Yeah i saw that story the guy had been a customer there for 60 years they told him it was regulation enforced by the police but it isn't they just advise to tell people to remove hoods and baseball caps which restrict the view of peoples faces so they can be identified from security tapes if they cause trouble.
Can't really see an 81 year old man who's been going to the same place for 60 years kicking off can you ? wtf ever happened to comman sense and personal judgement ?
There was another story some couple in there 70's had a notice placed on there door at an old folks sheltered housing unit warning them to remove the plastic flower display pots they had on their doorstep or be evicted because it's a fire hazzard :rolleyes
I tell you if i had the money i'd be out of this country in a heartbeat.

Im really tempted to sell everything, work my bits off for a solid year and forgo all my debts and just disappear. This place is getting to crazy for me!

Mmm maybe I could be like bruce banner wondering the earth helping folk as I go. (Que- The Lonely man theme and a voice over "he's just a brit looking for somewhere to settle down that has some marginal common sense" )
