Type of plastic suggestion needed.

Okay I need some help from the experts.

I am starting on trying to fix my 4' Excelsior model. There is no way I can do what Vidar 710 has done but I want to make some improvements.

As you can see below in page 3 it's a lot of cutting a lot of plastic sheeting. A lot!!!

Does anyone have a recommendation on a type of plastic that would be easy to cut but hold up well for this model.

I have had softer/easier plastic to cut and some that is much harder but I don't know what type they are.

Thanks

It looks like styrene was used in the link.

That's what I would suggest too. It's commonly available on many thicknesses, and Evergreen makes lots of strips, rods, etc... as well as textured sheets.

Even though styrene is a soft plastic, it can be quite strong when built up in layers. However I would recommend using some sort of metal armature for supporting the nacelles.
