Tusky bio sculpt

If you want to keep costs down, you could check a local WalMart for leather. Would heating it up slightly with a heat gun make the brown on the leather more worn and older looking?

Just a thought...

just do a wash with some dark paints.

that's cool that it will fit my half mask. this one is my fav of the new bios, although sans the tusks .

great work paul

also with the leather straps, and what i found when customizing my 1/6 preds, take the leather and run scissor blade up and down it, kinda "against the grain" and it roughs it up nice, plus makes it softer and more worn looking... just a thought:) then a thin washing of paints as said above:)

really hopin i can get the money soon for this one hez... missed out on so many other "hez bios"

That leather won't be too hard to find. Just search a local hobby store like Michaels and they should have plenty...I'm sure Paul has already sourced some out...

ive got the leather that matches that if anyone is interested..............
Yes I am...I found some at a craft store, but it's not a perfect match and it's expensive (which I was expecting to a degree...it IS leather, after all). But if you have the perfect stuff I would be interested in hearing more. :)

It looks like your typical tanned deerskin lace to me: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/home/de...ature=Product_8

You don't need to paint it, as much as rub leather oil (Baseball Mitt) into it and take it out into the yard and grind it into the dirt with your foot to wear it out.

I saw that stuff, it didn't look quite wide enough to me. Would probably work in a pinch though.
