Got a question I hope all you coin experts can answer. I am thinking of attempting to sculpt these coins but since the text is a little washed out and I haven't been able to find actual coins that match exactly, I was hoping someone with more knowledge than me can shed some light on this. The coins I found did not have text in highlighted areas, if I remember correctly, so is it just something added for the movie coins to distinguish them from the originals or... have I just not found the correct coin yet?

I cannot make out the text encircled round the top, nor the full year at the bottom. I guessed at making out the year 172-something in the last spot I cannot make out, but might be completely wrong even with the number I think I can make out.

The top is Phillip (VII)?
So look for coins with his name on it and it should give you the date.

I found there's a lot to dig up when I was researching the coin from Uncharted 1 including markings of where it was made.

Probably to differentiate it. The closest coin my brief search could find to that design was a Peruvian 8 Escudos, which supposedly reads PHILIPPVS V D • G • HISPANIARVM Though the photos seem to show HISPANIA, and HISPANIAR
