Looks real nice, godzilla. Do you intend to weather/dirty it up some?

Yes, but not too much. I think my robe needs a touch of grey in a dyebath plus a little bit of weathering, but definitely some heavier weathering on the gloves. I think the main reason the costume in the photos reads as too clean is that the color of the robes is brighter than the sand.

The costume that I'm patterning actually wasn't weathered very heavily. Replica Tusken robes often look good when they're heavily weathered, but I'm trying to stick closer to gospel for this one. The robe on the Chronicles costume is either the same or the sister of the one currently in the Lucasfilm archives, and it's virtually clean.
