Tron Legacy: the Other Props

Tho I guess it could still be that part, with maybe the male section removed?

Good eye, that definitely looks like the part. They could have attached it any number of ways. I'm still trying to decide what the actual hacker module is made from. Could be a battery case, but it could also be any other number of things. I'm also searching for that mount plate on the back of the phone securing the module. I was working under the assumption it was a found item but I'm having a hard time finding something similar and I've searched many types of mounting plates already. :unsure

Whatever it is it has a hard edge. Just noticed it when comparing Megatron's image with guyverraziel's adapter. The adapter is round and smooth but the part in Sam's hand clearly has a sharp edge running the length of it. I'm not imagining that am I, are you guys seeing it?

EDIT: This 3.5 to 2.5 mm adapter is looking a little closer to the image, though maybe still not the exact one:

If you mean this section (different image)

Then that's the part that Sam plugs into his hacker module when he's uploading Encom OS 12, not part of the module itself.

Great pic, thanks man. That looks like the HDMI connector between the unit and the phone. At least, that's where the port is on the phone and there's a shiny metal piece there so I'm making the leap in logic. So the top of the module needs a plug in port...

About the hacker module for the n8, I got a bunch of 720p screencaps and one of the most interesting (For me anyway) was this one

The extra piece on the back looks a lot like an old pentium processor. I've seen them with the text almost completely faded and with thermal paste residue.

Could it be some sort of FM transmitter? It might make sense if it was plugged into an iPod?
This one has a jack on it as well.....

I look at my N8 and there is a phone jack in that top location..maybe its not attached to the hacker board at all and is just in the phone jack and the hacker board is using a hdmi male to connect on to the phone. Might not have been in the last scene of the movie with the chip and necklace.

oh the top line on that hacker screen says III TRON (open, file) hehe

You sure about that Megatron? On my N8 phone, there's a power button on top, and the jack is on the bottom.

I dont think its that at all
that does not have HDMI connection
and the phone jacket hole is not on the top part but kinda two space below where it would be on that part

Yeah, I guess the jack is a little low now that you mention it. The shape is right though. If nothing else it could be modified to work.

So I watched again on blu ray last night and a few more props popped into mind, (most have already been mentioned on this thread):

First, I would love to make the baton holder that Jarvis presents to CLU and Sam before the light cycle battle!

-the Baoding balls that CLU has
-Kevin's prayer bracelet, looks like it's made of shells or something? I noticed he has both black and white ones depending on what he is wearing.
-the bombs Quorra uses to help Sam escape the light cycle fight
-umbrella
-sector coaster/book mark
-bombs that the guards carry on their legs

Does anyone have a screencap of the Nokia screen, especially now that the Blu-ray is out, the one that was in this thread is MIA?

So the Mysterious Island book is a rather easy find, has anyone found the blue edition of the Voyages Extraordinaire - Adventeres of Captaine Hatteras? I can only find the red ones, and at $1500 to $10000 not exactly affordable! Was considering getting one of the print on demand hardbacks and making my own cover!
