Tron Legacy: the Other Props

I made a 3d model of the EOLC umbrella a few days after the Digital Domain trailer came out.

I'll be damned if I can think of a way to bring it here into the real world in a drink safe manner.

I'd rather it be all glass or acrylic vs some toxin resin. The tube it's glued to would be easy to find in a non toxic form (acrylic or glass)

Got to sort out a hobbiest way to make the cap part non toxic & dishwasher safe as well.

So after seeing the footage from Flynn Lives the next day I've decided I have to fade my Flynn Lives shirt as a prop

great start. The glass itself seems easy, but it looks like the bottom may house LEDs to illuminate the liquid. The umbrella could never be dishwasher safe, as it would almost certainly break. The top looks like an upside-down miniature saucer, though a bit more rounded. I bet you could custom cast it somehow, but figuring that out is the problem (while keeping it food-safe, that is).

This picture proves what I had suspected about the chip.
The entire center round "disc" section of the chip has been removed and replaced with a transparent piece, allowing the light to pass through it:

you could always vacform the top of the cocktail umbrella out of clear acrylic sheet and use acrylic rod for the rest. the 'glass' should be relatively easy to turn and polish out of the same sort of material.

ps. if you get the glass you have to get the jug.

My other speculation is, that it is CGI - like the super small LED on the 2G sim card holder.

30 bucks a glass basically. molostore!

60 for 2. Looks like the base of the pilsner is a tad too tall but other than that... this is the glass Castor was holding.

The champagne flute is what Castor is handed by Clu and he uses the 500ml tea lantern to make the drink. But he uses the pilsner when talking with Sam, and they used them in Star Trek rebrand.

Anything is possible, but I doubt so very much, especially considering how the light hits the card in this frame:

You can see the difference in materials.

Also noticed that it looks their their nokia sponsorship came with the pick-up shots later in producetion: in wide shots with Garrett Hedlund, it looks like the the phone is an IPHONE.

sorry I can't see it or anything that is different :( - can you show me explicit with a shop what is different…
