I agree, I'm pretty sure it was meant to represent wings with the AGL standing for angel, as in angel arms factory... hence the name of the cannon when it forms and has the wings sprout out... "The Angel Arm"
Eagle dosen't make any sense. Well, for that matter the whole "arms factory" bit dosen't make any sense since Knives apparently pulled a Tony Stark and built both of them out of spare parts in a cave. :confused
They look more like angel wings than they do letter 'E's.
Seems we all have valid points and I respect different opinions.
I would love to know for a fact what it actually stands for... Eagle or Angel... I like to believe it's angel but that is some valid points about the Eagle manufacturers.
It's like you said, Knives built the guns out of spare parts. There is nothing to say that the Eagle Arms Factory isn't where he got those parts. He mainly fashioned the plant technology into it not built the entire gun from scratch. I mean Frank Marlon had no problem fixing it up and switching out the cylinder.
And for me, being a graphic designer, I see the wings as iconographic representations of Es since E + AGL + E spells eagle. You can't even say AGL phonetically and make it sound like Angel.
It's too bad we'll never get this entirely settled. I'm perfectly keen with believing what we believe even if they aren't the same thing. :thumbsup
If you have a grand to spend on the gun, you might be able to find someone with a CNC router who can machine you one from aluminum.
Just saw this thread, and wanted to let you guys know that this project is on my list of things to do!thumbsup
I acquired the 44 Magnum M-29 Kit, along with the Poseidon Trigun Vash Revolver Conversion Kit a couple of years back.
My plan is to offer the Poseidon version of the Vash Revolver in METAL!!!thumbsup
The Poseidon version, IMO, is the best and most accurate version of the Vash Revolver out there, and is also different from the Sidkit Vash Revolver. Can't remember what version Sidkit's was, but his was still bada$$. Especially, since he offered it in metal.
There's still a lot of work involved before it is ready for the molds. Such as converting the 44 Magnum parts into recognizable Vash parts, and also tearing up the grip into seperate parts, so part of the grip can be molded and be made into hard black rubber.
Of course, some of you may know I've been working on other projects, and my progress time is usually slow at times. So, when I'll be able to work on this is unknown, but hopefully by next year.
