Trigun - Vash the Stampede .45 Long Colt Replica

Welp lost another auction on yahoo Japan for a Vice Alpha version of Vash's gun... grr this is becoming a major nuisance trying to find a good replica of the gun.

Anyone have a Vash gun they feel like selling, like one of the sidkits/posiedon/or vice versions with the moveable parts?

Just saw this thread, and wanted to let you guys know that this project is on my list of things to do!thumbsup

I acquired the 44 Magnum M-29 Kit, along with the Poseidon Trigun Vash Revolver Conversion Kit a couple of years back.

My plan is to offer the Poseidon version of the Vash Revolver in METAL!!!thumbsup

The Poseidon version, IMO, is the best and most accurate version of the Vash Revolver out there, and is also different from the Sidkit Vash Revolver. Can't remember what version Sidkit's was, but his was still bada$$. Especially, since he offered it in metal.

There's still a lot of work involved before it is ready for the molds. Such as converting the 44 Magnum parts into recognizable Vash parts, and also tearing up the grip into seperate parts, so part of the grip can be molded and be made into hard black rubber.

Of course, some of you may know I've been working on other projects, and my progress time is usually slow at times. So, when I'll be able to work on this is unknown, but hopefully by next year.

I was just thinking about this topic again. Poseidon got the proportions and the shape of the grip right, but they also took some liberties with regards to a few details, like the shape of the trigger guard, and the bit of the barrel that's visible where the cylinder meets the forward frame.

From my experience the Vice Alpha gun is the Anime verison, and the Poseidon is the Manga version.

I been working a ton with the Vice Alpha/Sidkit version, and been doing a ton of research on the gun/bullets and mechanics of the inner workings as well as the angel arm mechanism.

If you look closely in the anime pic double is misspelled on the gun as doble, and the Vice alpha version has the very same spelling (doble) etched into it. Neat little screen accuracy I thought ^_^

The Vice Alpha kit is their interpretation of the Anime gun. (Though the same could be said of the Poseidon kit)
Poseidon made both the Anime version and the Manga version. The Manga kit is the one that could be built around an airsoft revolver. The Manga gun only bears a passing resemblance to it's Anime counterpart.

I should have stated myself better.

What I meant to say was the Vice Alpha in my opinion is the more accurate one to the Anime then the Posedion Version. The Poseidon version does offer both manga and anime but offers the more accurate Manga version.

I have two Vice Alpha/Sidkit kit's I'm working on currently and also a Wolfwood Grader.

The Poseidon cylinder is a tad different but they gave their own flare on the gun. The kit I'm working on I'm going to have it chamber an actual .45 long colt bullet with the correct brass crimping and bullet head. Going to work to fabricate a rotating cylinder with a trigger pull and also an auto ejection system for the bullets. Also going to try and work on making the top rail removable to reveal the inner workings which activates the angel arm.

The Poseidon Manga kit is pretty accurate. The main thing is the hammer. On the solid-cast Manga kit, it has the stylized hammer. But the airsoft conversion uses the hammer from the magnum it's built around.

I'm not really sure why. On their anime kit, they made a trigger 'shell' that would fit around the M29 cap gun, to give it a functional hammer/trigger/cylinder while still keeping the hammer accurate.

Making a hammer shell for the manga kit would be pretty easy using wood I think.
