Was curious if anyone had any pictures of the parts of the Vash gun? I'm trying to find something with dimensions or parts that my dad could use for a reference to machine the pieces with.
Vash's gun is based on a real Mateba after all.

The price on his kit would roughly translate to 23bucks - all you can see here is the gun belonging to the insurance girl (Millie?) He had them all - But I didn't get his card - sorry. If I do make it to Japan before Wonderfestival this year maybe i can get you some info.
But don't get your hopes up - it's almost never the same people from year to year. I'm still trying to locate the guys who sold the Akira conversion kits for motorcycles.

'Based' yes, but only in theory. The only design elements taken from the Mateba are the bottom-firing chamber. People often assume that Vash's gun is an Auto Revolver like the Mateba (which uses the force of an expelled shot to cycle the cylinder and cock the hammer for the next shot) but Vash's gun is infact just a Double Action revolver. (where the gun can be fired by cocking the hammer each time or pulling the trigger, but the trigger pull is twice as long and has twice as much resistance since you're cocking the gun and firing at the same time)
Having a real Mateba wouldn't help you with the design.
Isn't this one of Sidkit's metal guns?
I love how so many people still believe the fictional gun manufacture's name is Angel Arms. Just makes me giggle a little.
There's a correction on the bottom.
Let's not do the Eagle/Angel debate again. :lol
There is no debate, it's Eagle. :lol
