Today one of my younger clients was admiring my props displayed in my barbershop while getting his hair cut and told me he knew a guy who had two rooms in his condo here packed to the brim with props, including a huge gorilla hand he said was from "the King Kong movie of the 70's". He said the owner is a part-time resident and used to work in the prop dept at one of the studios. This kid (mid to late 20's) did maintenance and went into the condo a few times.
I asked if the guy still owned the condo and he didn't know as it was several years ago. He told me he'd look into it for me.
Fingers crossed. If anything turns up, the RPF will be the first to know.
