More work today, sanding, fitting, re-shaping.... had to run out to buy sheet styrene at 1mm thickness for shims all over the top of the P1... gotta make it look just right!

I changed the shape of this P1 a little, so I'll have to straighten the rails just a tiny bit (it's quite easy if you know how), but even as is the fit's pretty good.

That looks like a good fit to me, and modifying them a bit is no biggie. I just didn't want to make new ones from scratch because without the proper tools it's a lot of work.

Partly, but also the rails (fins as you call them) do not go all the way to the end of the P1 anyway.
