Leg support system.
I had a bud take notice of the "sound" my suit makes when i walk.
Well, it's just the industrial velcro straps going over my shoulder...rubbing on my lycra suit.
The attachment of the legs is a big deal, at least for me.

During my First test fitting of the straps, I think I goofed the criss-crossing because I had one strap keep falling off my shoulder. The second test fitting, the photoshoot day, it didn't fall off and I think I just realized why...I did it right haha

Here is how I support the legs:

My right thigh piece is riding a little low...didn't realize it during my walk or these photos...but now that I can "see" it....well...oops LOL

how did you mount the straps to the armor parts on the legs.. pop rivot?? i was thinking about getting some suspenders and doing this to it. but i wanted to see how you mounted it to the armor..

i am getting pretty excited about getting my suit.. i am just having problems find the red leather gloves i checked a few places TMP mentioned but i couldnt find any that would fit my hand. i have a dive skin undersuit already for it.. so i am good there and i have a newer pair of shoes to fit the feet pieces to.. anything i am forgetting..??

desolate, I got some black leather gloves and simply sprayed these with the same paint as the suit, they worked out a treat, I'll tkae some pictures and post them on here if you wish, the paint does not crack badly either. Looks great and as it's the same paint the red patches perfect. :thumbsup

You should try nu-life vinyl spray. It comes in a variety of colors and isn't going to crack. I'm sure they'll have something close for your gloves.

yeah just like TMP said i believe toward the first of February.. (hoping around then) the way i look at it if TMP rushes to get the suit done then it wont be the best it can possibly be.. So the more time taken to create it the better quality it will be..

Excellent costume, the most screen accurate I have ever seen! Certainley looks like a labour of love. Hope you don't mind asking a few questions for me!

How long did it take you to make it? How easy was it for you to source the materials? Did you mold most of the pieces yourself and is the suit really comfortable to wear? Do you intend to make any other costumes in the near future?

Research started before that. The first clay sculps was based on a mix of the movie version vs the comic books. The midsection and pants were all different. The back armor, even the legs. Then we decided after we were well into sculpting we wanted to try to make the movie version.

The first prototype as shown on page one was finshed 2 weeks prior to the world cinema release.
