Totally jealous. This has always been a dream of mine to have one of these. I saw a TMNT3 suit go on ebay for like 4 grand and it killed me not to take out another student loan to get it.

Wow this is really impressive. I've always wanted to add a Ninja Turtle to my collection having grown up with the cartoon and the original Jim Henson turtles. This is really amazing, great job.

I love the texture you've added, really brings it to life. Would love to see the helmet with full animatronics added.

Look forward to seeing the completed full suit or suits. Very very cool indeed.

Wow -thanks everyone. Gotta be honest - I did not expect to get the response these sculpts have gotten.

Just to make a side note, these first 4 heads, are going to be the fixed expressions. The guy I am going to have doing the animatronics for the 1:1 and 1:2 Iron Man and War Machine figures, IS going to be doing some animatronic work on the TMNT heads.

We had a few good talks a couple of weeks ago and I think we can keep the cost down, pay everyone for their time and materials, and still offer a hell of a product.

If all goes well, I should have a fiberglass skull and skin done by the end of next week. I've got a former McFarlane Mold Maker coming in to town

Ya know, the total hours isn't too too bad... Its the revisions that are kicking me in the sack and waiting for materials. Because it's blistering cold across most of the country, no one wants to ship me my foam for fear of it freezing, and being set back by a couple of bad batches, being double-dipped for product, that's the stuff that's the nail in the coffin.

So, actual sculpting time, next to nil... The Donatello head has an hour in it.

Quick update -

We just decided to just completely redo the entire sculpt... Just didn't look right, lots wrong after looking at it, so we redid this in less than 9 hours - it really helps having someone who knows what they're doing, helping you with this.
