Thanks for the answer, Wasili. The reason for my question is that if the moulds are adaptable to doing a a lightweight one-off, the casting would be flightworthy.

I should just shut up and finish my planked balsa version.

I remember reading the books as a child.

Jiminydog is talking about the kit i offer from this project. Sometime ago i screwed up one of the molds of the hull (...don't mix silicone and take care of kids at the same time...).. I've got the new batch of silicone coming in anyday now. Can finally finish up the kits.

update indeed. I received word from my supplier that he has my silicone on monday. Then i'll go pick it up and start pouring the final mold immediately.

The end is near ..

Small update:

Got my silicone. My daytime job is picking up speed again, after a quiet time, so the moonrocket work i do mostly in the weekends. Tomorrow i'll pour the silicone molds, and maybe i'll have the first pulls on sunday....maybe....
