Jodo, I dont want to pay vey much ofcourse! haha. You remember what it was like making Jokers. haha. We tried to spend as little as possible to look as cool as possible! I also remember that forum being more about the costume and helping eachother out as well as showing off our stuff... it wasnt about making a buck as much as it is here...

What was the other forum? I am new here, and hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes, but I have seen a lot of support within this group. yes they sell stuff, but doesn't everyone? You guys should see the yorkie forum that I am on. Talk about trying to make a buck.

Um............If anyone is interested, I have a ton of Tiny Silk spools, which are all antique and are what are actually on the Bandolier in the Movie, if anyone wants pics let me know!

adn Believe me I can afford to spare a few lol!

It was Superherohype.com

And sure I guess people need to make money... but some things are just crazy overpriced for what you get (I won't mention anything specific) but there should be a bit more help in a forum and more of a sense of community I guess. Feed back here and there is nice rather than just straight criticism. Thats all I'm saying.

Mr. Pinski, (or anyone else) I have a set of 25 1" tall vintage spools I'm looking to part ways with as well. All but two of them have thread. They're what was left over when I made my own bandolier. PM for pictures and more info.

I'll have to go out and find some today; I just hope I don't get put on a terror watch list because of it.

:lol :p ;)

Mr Pinski, I deffintly miss the "feel" of the SHH board, but I like the guys over here to, LOL. But your right, there is a diffrent feeling and stuff.

It's Thursday, the sun is shining, the surf is great..I am stuck inside trying to work this bloody chain o_O I second that Jodo..I hate chain..hate it hate it hate it!! *Screaming heebies*

LOL...It's a bit damp out here...But I wouldn't know about the surf. :lol

I told my mom I was gonna hang myself with the chain. :lol :p ;)

"Back to work boy!"

(Can you tell where I sit? :lol )

Hopefully not on the laptop!

It took me only about 3 hours to string up my bandolier plus another hour to redo certain things as more photos became available.

The wee hours of the morning after the kids are asleep really helps when it is quiet!!!

Well now I need to add another 2 hours to the job sometime to redo the darn thing yet again with smaller spools!

I'm on spool #10, and I think I've spent about 45 mins. doing those. BUT...I just messed up on mine. LOL. I need to undo like 3 spools, and make them looser. They get tight, and it make the chain bow out suddenly in those places. So I think I need to take my stripes out and make them longer or something. Dang it. I should of known better than talk to someone while trying to do it. :lol

While I do agree than some things can get pricey, cost is really all relative. If someone produces a not so great item and overcharges, that person isn't gonna get any returning clients, are they? While one may think something is too expensive, another may think it is a good deal. I always have people tell me I sell my stuff for too cheap, and others that send me mean messages saying I'm crazy and way overcharge.

From what I've read, people here have been supportive! i haven't seen anyone be downright mean, and the criticism I have read is constructive. My other forum some of those women can be downright witches!

What happened to everyone that was on superherohype? I thought that board was just about comics and stuff.

*sorry I got so ot*
