Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

I actually loaded up on dragonflies back when the first trailer came out, its just barely visable but is most definatly a dragonfly.

I think most are picking up embroidered iron-on patches. :) They're relatively cheap and much easier to apply and hold their shape much better than embroidering directly onto a garment.

Got my bird patch from Singapore. A little on the smaller side (as is all their stuff...must be something in the water or the scalability with the smaller people). Not bad for the price. I will most likely upgrade to an ACME version as soon as funds are available.

What the heck. CJS, how long did it take to receive? Travis is STILL waiting for his...thanks in advance.

Here's another picture I was prompted to share because I "look so much like him!" in this picture.

I deffintly see the old woman/Madonna vibe coming out in this picture.

Jodo, definitely make sure you get a flat coloured lipstick for the makeup, the one thing I notice is the shine on what you're using! They can usually be picked up at any dollar store. They usually taste and smell really bad but they're literally just a flat ( as in no-shine ) cream in stick form...no gloss or sparkle that any real good lipstick has.

I think you should put the makeup that goes down the sides of the nose a little closer to the bridge, too, next time, as opposed to down the contours of your own. It'll hilight the most narrow part a little bit more, like his. I noticed this can make a HUGE difference as I did it the way I'm suggesting now the first night Travis and I went out, and the second night, unknowingly, I did it a lot closer to the contours of his own and it just threw the entire look! Bah.

Another area to look out for is right between the eyes. You've got some good spacing with your makeup there! Be careful never to have it go too close there ( that was my second problem on the second night which threw the look ) otherwise it, too, makes the bridge look a lot larger between the contouring.

What kind of white makeup are you using? It looks great! Nice and smooth! What do you plan on doing for the eyebrows?

Yes Jodo looks good. I am trying to figure out what white to use as well. I was going to use Ve Neil's pirate pallete white but that is alot of alcohol on my skin.

Also Jodo is your tooth gap natural or are you using black wax?

Aelynn, I just used makeup I had already, so there's deffintly a few things I need to buy, and lipstick (lipstick being on my shopping list makes me laugh. :lol [Not the first time!]) is deffintly one of them. I had the wig, and couldn't resist a first stab at it. :D

And good call about the nose makeup, my nose is preety big, and it doesn't need to look any bigger! :lol

The white I use is the same makeup I use for the Joker (although that image was distorted in photoshop) : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v225/jodok/Joker/Practice/tisart2.jpg

I've got about 3 of them, let me check what brand it is, and I'll get back to you. :) I just apply it with my brush, and then I dabbed it with my fingers until it was smooth.

UM, thanks man! :D The tooth gap thankfully isn't natural! :p ;) Beleive it or not, I just used a little bit of black from the pallete I have, and an eyeliner stick. It wears off pretty quick, it was just a quick fix for the time being. I thought I had some wax for it, but I can't find it. Nothing like eating a little bit of makeup evry few seconds. :lol

Nope, not realy. The only place that I do see anything would be the laugh lines in my face. But that sorta unavoidable when it comes to me. :lol :p ;)

Here's the clear version of that same picture. All the wrinkles in it were made on purpose, you have to scrunch up your face to make them all,etc.. :p ;)

or another with the same white :

EDIT - No scars or green in the hair in the second picture, I think thats when I was showing a dude how to do the makeup for Halloween. Like I said above, all the little "holes" or wrinles are all on purpose. You have to scunch up your eyes, your laugh lines, etc when you apply it. And there's a very limited ammount of crease that appear. Just the my laugh lines that eventualy show up. I just dab them with my fingers an they go away. :lol

Wow, Jodo, that is just AWEsome.....
and dare I say it? You look just like him!!

OK, so I'm having CJS residuals issues..........

Thanks! I would really appreciate that! :D

Just putting this out there, Travis got some tooth black-out stuff from a seasonal Halloween store around here for $2 and it worked AMAZINGLY. It looks like nailpolish, almost...smells like death and alcohol...but dries in 10 seconds and stays on through eating and drinking and you can scratch it or brush it right off! ... Speaking of which...I'm going to have to look for it since I think it may be buried in my regular makeup box...

Oh, I think it was Rubies. Here it is! Really, works like a charm!! It's a thin brush, too so it's easy to apply, but like I said if you need to scratch the edges to make it a nice straight gap, it's incredibly easy to do. Just try not to breathe through your nose when you use it. It SERIOUSLY stinks.

I use the mehron tooth stain for the Joker, but man...It doesn't stink! :lol I think it's even mint flavored. :lol
