Tie wing matra part

I am currently looking/searching for a matra wheel rim for my tie wing built.
I did notice that besides tamiya,.bandai also released a matra kit.


Does anybody have a picture of the bandai wheel rim?
Could the bandai part be used as a substitute?
If anyone has a spare tamiya matra wheel rim or resin cast for sale, could you please pm me or chime in.

What i sometimes did in the past is to buy the expensive kit,mould and cast the wanted part and sell the complete kit again.
I am not sure if the Matra donates other parts to other SS models,..but if that is the case you could hold on to the kit.
But yeah $100++for just a wheel rim is tough!!
Ask around in SS Tie-Fighter build threads,..maybe someone is willing to help you out with a resin casting.
Maybe an option?

I might have one. I bought one years ago to make the 'Bomb' from Dark Star. Never used the rims and never realised the TIE used them :-D
