Hey all!
I’ve just remembered that I forgot to post my finished Thunderbird 1 build that I finished a couple of months ago! (I remembered to take making of pics too but I won’t bore you with those right now)
She’s 15.5 inches tall, the same as the studio model used in the opening Launch sequence. Designed by me in Fusion 360 and 3d printed on my Ender 3, with working swing wings and aluminium thrusters
In days past, I would have done this with a carved foam buck and fibreglass etc, but I suffered a mini-stroke a couple years ago and thought my model making days were over thanks to reduced strength down my left side. The 3d printer has given me back my hobby again
Anyway, enough of the sob story .,, here she is …
