Just curious.

Have not seen one, and not sure if do-able.

Only wondering...

have two... unsure of what prop they'd apply to but the light show is pretty cool.

That is a pretty good idea. I hate the smell but may have to check into an alternative use.

I know a guy who did it for his R2..some minor changes and now it is battery powered.

Do you mean converted a Glade Plug-In to 'battery'?

If so, how?
[/b]

Yes....

I'll ask him and post it here

:)

No, but that's the first thing I thought of too Hahaha....
[/b]

Wow... me three.

Just saw the commercial yesterday. I also thought it would make great mood lighting on a prop.

Plus... The props will smell so sweet....

Which brings up another point. I'm guessing there's a heating element to activate whatever scent source is used (guessing interchangable).

Would imagine you'd want to disable that element, and keep only the lights powered.

If your friend can tell us how he converted to battery - Could you also run that one by him?

Thanks

Ok..here is the procedure:

"
All you need to do is remove the huge resistor (the big square grey thing) by cutting the 2 leads to it. Then bypass the start button. After that, just connect a 9V battery across the power leads. If it doesn't work, reverse the leads. Since the power supply is AC, Glade didn't pay attention to color codes when connecting the power leads to the board, so don't count on that."

Seems simple enough. I'll ask him about the heating element and post. Edit...I'm guessing the resisitor IS the heating element so this should be it. :)

Also curious if there's any way to control the colors or patterns (I'm sure with enough intervention, yes, but guessing mainly what you see is what you get (Just didn't know if you could disconnect any of the 'off looking' colors, and run with the accepted or preferred, etc...
