Hi! This is my design of The Most Important Machine In The Universe, or more accurately known as the Modern Props Companies prop #195-290-1. This prop has been in the background of several Star Trek movies and tv franchises (even animated), The Last Starfighter, Knight Rider, Airplane II...

Just because 3D print on my ENDER 3 FDM printer.
3 color PLA filaments (Red, White and Black)

The White to Black were a filament change while it was printing.
(A little clean up required).

There are going to be several individual parts to print for this..I will be printing in basic PLA at 210C and White in color (for painting later).

I started on the lower base of one the 4 (pool motor/filter covers).
It has 3 segments for each of the four main parts (12 total).

This is one of 4 of these to be printed.
It was printed in 9 parts, individually.

There is the end cap to be printed still, but I may remodel it to the most recent version.
Making 10 total parts.

Not sure if I will light the prop.......

I remastered the end cap from the STL file version (posted above), to a version more like what you will see now as it sits (the most recent style).

I have been steadily printing the individual parts to the "Most Important device in the Universe" and have posted about 9 videos so far of the progress.
May end up selling all the parts as a kit, to be finished, assembled and painted.
I am currently printing the larger "BOX" base and will be posting up dates.
This current print will go about 16 hours.
