The Winter Soldier - Costume Research Thread

PreacherMan- It is regrettable that I do not understand English, either.
I'm sorry since it is translation software, when it is a strange text.
The main part of an arm is an EVA sheet. (It seems that it is called a "foam" overseas)
sheen is using "cloth."
Refer to the picture.

I haven't added the details to this holster yet, but this is how the pieces are mounted.

Hey guys, would a colt 25 be an ok understudy for the .357 COP?

Has anyone figured out how to mount the guns on the right holster? Magnets or elastic?
Also does anyone have a good pic of the left holster/p226?

EDGE, I took your craft foam idea and it worked really well. Much better than Worbla.

Should've sealed it with Plasti-Dip instead of wood glue, it took a lot of sanding to get it to look right again.

I got my mask off ebay. ProCosPlay I believe is the seller. (ignore crap wig, I still got to cut my hair. although if you have to wig this costume I highly recommend lace front, way more natural effect) I need to drag a hot needle into the breathing vents because they are sealed. otherwise its very nice. I wore it on free comic book for a bit before I got over heated.
This is the Drop Leg panel I bought that Im going to modify into the right leg holster.
The CYMA set Im looking into as an alternative to the COP 357 and tec 38. That and the Colt 25.

also if anyone is considering making his first appearance jacket, Im pretty sure its closer to a denim then leather. thoughts?

I always thought it was leather, honestly! I may be wrong, requires closer looking.

I tooled an 'invisible' speed holster to sit on my left side, and as low as reasonably possible. An hour and a half of sanding and dremelling later, and... well, close enough. Here's hoping it fits my P226, it barely fits my Glock.

Nice wig! Wouldn't have imagined lace front working well for this.

EDIT- It fits a P226 nicely and with some tweaking. Still doesn't sit far enough on my thigh for my liking, dunno how to fix this without serious tooling

Got caught in the wind so my wig is a little puffy, but whatever.
It's finally done! New jacket from Shushuwafflez Creative Studio, who's awesome. It sits just high enough so that my belt and all the fixings are visible.

The knives are both casts of the same blade from Lakonian Bladecraft, who's a buddy that makes excellent cutlery. I modified the blade of the casts to look more like canon, then pressed sheaths.

I tried to find what EDGE was explaining and here is what I found:

Amazon.com - Mirror on a Roll, Flexible Silver Mirror 61cm X 100cm (24" x 39" inches) Sticky Back Mirror/Self Adhesive, DO NOT USE AS A NORMAL MIRROR, FOR CRAFTING ONLY - Wall Mounted Mirrors
Amazon.com: Silver Adhesive Mylar 20x27 Sheet Package of 5
Amazon.com : Reflective Mylar Roll 25 Feet Long : Plant Growing Tents : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Based on how I have seen other arms made I have an idea in my head to create and arm starting with a compression material long sleeve shirt and then applying some base to it that will allow the arm to have good strong flexibility and most of all be strong and permanent and then using Reflective Mylar material create from templates each portion of the arm and glue them to the compression shirt that has had some sort of base (rubber/latex) applied to it.

My problem is, being new at this is I am clueless what the best option is for the base to use on the compression shirt. I did some reading and liquid latex looks promising but it seems more like an application used for temporary use and not permanent. Any suggestions on what would be the best option to use as a flexible base applied to the compression shirt would be a huge help.

Very Great !!!!
I am still likely to take time until I complete.

This is My Mask

My mask is made from the 3-mm-thick EVA sheet (foam).
And the coat of the surface is carried out by Plasti Dip.
Since there is no photograph in the middle of manufacture, it cannot explain well.
I'm sorry.

However, the place which sells the yesterday very good mask was found.
