Where those wrinkles are on yours could turn into splits also, it's the material and where it is located allows it to bend up and down in the same place. Also may start to tear on the edges near the stitching where it is on an angle when worn over your shoulder and pulls against it. You may find yours will be okay but I was going to change the strap over regardless, the tears just gave me the incentive to do it quicker.
It's back in stock at Amazon US. It is also saying it will be delivered between July 15 and July 19. Since I got 2 invites because I had trouble registering back on 2020 I was thinking of ordering a 2nd one but I have decided to wait until the rush is over and everyone who registered has gotten one or sometime in the fall, whichever comes first.

Interesting. Just checked Amazon and it states if I buy now, it should deliver on the 16th (no 'window' for delivery, but just the normal specific date). Yet the one I purchased on July 2 still lists as not shipped yet and will still only identify sometime between the 15th and the 20th as a supposed delivery date.
EDIT: Wow. Checked again (literally just a couple minutes later) and now, instead of the 16th, it lists July 24-29 as the delivery date for a new order.

Thank you, I was thinking I would receive an invite this morning but didn't. Although the order page wouldn't come up in a search, fortunately it was in my browser history and I was able to place an order. Delivery July 21-28. (??)

I'm in for one more too, but later this year for similar reasons. That plus I'm hosing money into my fan film at the moment, so the tricorder kitty is maxed out for the next few months...

OK, back to tricorders now. (Modeled in Plasticity, textured and rendered in Blender, before anyone asks and derails the thread.)
I think what is happening with multiple invites is that there are buttons at the bottom that you need to press if you were able to buy, unable to buy one or no longer interested. If you bought one and didn't click the able to buy one you will probably keep getting invites.

That means you haven't bought one through the email link yet. They send you three invites to give you three chances to buy one, and then that's it.

Received invite this morning .
I purchased one today. I see zero reason for two. Before anyone yells RESELL. They have quickly dropped in price on eBay now. The cheapest Going for less than $600.

Got my invite today. ordered on Amazon U.S. Delivery time given as between July 21-27.

Yep and by the time EBay and PayPal take their fees the sellers won't make anything. So sad, too bad .
If I were younger and a cosplayer I may have thought it were a good idea to have a backup. But I'm in my 50's. Im in great shape and all but time will eventually catch up, even with me sadly... Lol. By the time I would ever need a backup I would be like 80 years old.
This is mostly for display. If I thought it would be worth like 2k In a few years.. maybe. But it won't be. Maybe in 30 years but I shall be dead or close to it. I'm a realist about these matters....
