If all of you will excuse me - I need to make space in a prominent part of my display shelves for mine.

Oh, this is exciting! My only real worry is they sell out before I get mine ordered.

If you signed up to be notified, they assured us there would be plenty of time to order before releasing to the public.

They'll be putting them up for pre-order when it's time. My wife and I are ordering two. His and hers tricorders!

Did you not get in on the original reservation? My understanding was that guaranteed a spot

No, that guaranteed you'd get the email notifying everyone that pre-orders were open. It wasn't a reservation for a tricorder.

FYI…if you did not receive the latest email, then I believe that it means that you are no longer in line to receive a Tricorder as it indicates that they likely have forgotten about you.

I would say it’s time to hit the panic button if you don’t see the latest update in your inbox.

With the re sale and desire for the tricorder and phaser, I feel like I should buy two and sit on one for a year…..but I can’t,just don’t have it in me…

The certificate was a "registration of interest to receive more information about the availability" of the tricorder.

Yeah, I’m glad for this thread,though I rarely posted as I was sure the day would come,but I assumed I was guaranteed a spot. Thankfully I now know this is not the case and I’ll have to pay attention to beat the scalpers.
