The Walking Dead Season 3

Not to mention the fact that if you pay attention, the following shot where you see Glen, he is wearing a tactical vest, which several others in the group are shown wearing in the earlier scene as the group are trying to navigate the halls in the dark and then retreat into what looks like the chow hall (which includes a couple of shots of Glen). And Daryl is also wearing a similar vest, only not zipped up, over his standard plaid shirt without sleeves (which he is also seen wearing in Season 1 and Season 2 of the show) in one of the quick cuts of the group retreating into the chow hall.[/QUOTE]

Daryl does not wear a tactical vest.

My latest acquisition.

Nice score on the crossbow, but can you shoot yet? You've got to train if you want to be ready to venture into Florida someday:sleep

So, a few months ago, Steven Yeun tweeted a picture of a guy who really looked like Tyrese, and there was speculation that he might have been. You can see him in the season 3 promo, blocking Andrea and Michonne in a room in Woodbury. Wouldn't it be a strange twist if Tyrese were playing for Woodbury's team and then turns later?

I was wondering the same thing when I saw that guy.

I'm wondering if it will be Andrea that takes the brunt of the gov's abuse instead of Michonne.

The Andrea character has been a big let down on the show vs the comic. My guess is that she somehow gets taken or captured or worse becomes a love interest for the Governor and somehow gives him info on where the group is/how to get into the prison then after seeing what he really is comes to regret it, but at that point, I'm sure we will see some heavy, brutal losses.

From TV Guide:

Thanks for the scoop on The Walking Dead! I'm confused about the trailer though. Why did Andrea tell the Governor about the other survivors?! —Helio
NATALIE: I feel you! There's no way Andrea would betray the group like that, right? "It's not that easy," executive producer Gale Anne Hurd says of Andrea and Michonne's presence in Woodbury, promising that the trailer isn't giving you all the information. But never fear, Rick & Co. will be prepared for what's coming. "The Governor is a dangerous character, and what's interesting is that the folks in the prison are also dangerous characters now," added showrunner Glenn Mazzarra. "Rick and Daryl and the people are willing to do what they need to do to survive, so it's great to set these two forces against each other."

From Ausiello:

Question: Got any intel on The Walking Dead‘s midseason finale (a.k.a. Season 3, Episode 8)? —Pam
Ausiello: The shock and awe you’ll feel while watching the episode will quickly give way to dread, according to exec producer Robert Kirkman. “It’s definitely going to be something that will make you hate the winter and be dying for the second act of the season to start,” he shares, “which is a fun process that I think adds to the anticipation and excitement of the show. I don’t want to spoil anything or promise too much, but I’m very proud of the episode and I think people are really going to dig it.”

Some possible spoilers.
According to rumors, Daryl has to choose between Merle and Rick... Eventually he shoots Rick and leaves with Merle. Personally I don't buy into that one.

Maggie is taken hostage by a woodbury soldier and Glenn tries to stop him but he get's taken too. This seems likely based off of some blogs I have read where Glen and Maggie were seen in a grocery store. Maggie has a gun pointed to her head, Glen tries to bargain for her, but is taken as well.

The rumor about Daryl is false I know that for a fact from a few of my inside sources. Its more so the other way around without the shooting.

As for the second part, yes that does happen.

Did anyone see the news that AMC has paired with Universal Studios for this year's Halloween Horror Nights, FEATURING The Walking Dead??????

The Walking Dead is coming to Halloween Horror Nights - YouTube

Ohhhhhh man, I haven't been to Florida in about 6 years, and I am TERRIFIED of flying, but dang this sounds tempting.

I love Halloween, LOVE being scared, and my one previous experience with Universal's Halloween is that they do it to the MAX!!!!!!!!! Haven't had fun like that too often, and this is making me want to relive it. The near film-quality make up apps and set dressings are unreal.

They did say it was a flashlight during Talking Dead after the marathon. I'm hoping it is supposed to look like a silencer made out of a flashlight because if not, that is just terrible. I would think it is supposed to be makeshift because where do you just go and pick up a silencer in the backwoods of Georgia?

Georgia has the third highest number of privately owned suppressers. They are almost common there. In fact most PD's and gun shops should have a nice selection. I do wonder why he used a Mag-light to "make" one?? But I guess we will find out how Rick obtains it.

Despite common belief, suppressors are not illegal in many states all that's required to own (where legal) are some forms and a tax stamp. It's probably easier, and cheaper, to get a suppressor than it is to get a fully automatic weapon and I'd imagine that Georgia is a gun friendly state meaning that there's bound to be a few suppressors lying around as opposed to say, California or New York where you'd have a hard even finding guns but plenty of lawyers wanting to protect the rights of the walkers. :lol

I can answer the question about why he used a Mag-Light to make one. And it's actually a question I want you to think on: How would Rick know any of those people who own a suppressor, let alone where they live to get them? Remember, he comes from King's County and they are in the Woodbury area now. The odds of him knowing at least one person who has a suppressor in that area is pretty slim. Think of it like this: How many people, who are complete strangers to you, own shotguns in a town that's about 60/70/80 miles away from where you live? I can tell you one thing, I don't even know how many people in my hometown of Madison that own shotguns, who has them and a stockpile of ammo to go with them, let alone how many people in Tallahassee, or Gainsville, or Orlando may own them. The same goes for any gun accessories, including suppressors. The odds of Rick finding suppressors for the guns in the Woodbury area would almost be impossible (unless Rick happened to memorize the list of gun suppressor manufactures in the state, the group happens to be nearby to one of them, the nearby manufacture's stock haven't already been looted and is not surrounded by thousands of Walkers like Atlanta with the limited amount of ammo they have). Not to mention, with the Walker outbreak that is presented, there's a good chance that every pawn shop, sporting good store and every Wal-Mart store in Georgia that had any guns and gun accessories may have long since been raided. Remember, Rick took the guns from the police department because he had access to them where most civilians don't (not to mention, he also stated that the guns he brought with him were what was left over, meaning that other officers may have taken what they could carry and left whatever was left during the initial weeks where they got swarmed with Walkers).

It'd just be easier for Rick to use the Mag-Light he had as a suppressor than attempt to find one. He knows where his Mag-Light is, and improvising one in the world presented is better than trying to search for one when you are low on supplies and have only one vehicle that has barely has enough gas to get very far and another that enough to get a little ways.
