Here's my Obi-Wan ANH stunt... so far.

My Sloth Furnace V2 card arrived! Its thicker than expected so I had to push the switches down to fit. Everything is nice and tight!

Saber does not have a blue LED but the Green/white combo gives a nice shade of blue on camera. And I added a Ben Kenobi sound font as to honor it's use in the entire OT.

Thanks bud. I think the glow is enhanced by the dark red curtains. I keep looking at this photo myself in disbelief. The down side of the reflective blade is it's best seen from more than 10' away in a photograph. It is spectacularly bright with the naked eye from a little further away but you have to have a hand in front of your face holding a 3W cree torch (white). I'm gona have to make up head torch or something for a better view & possible in hand glow.

I took this one with UV (black-light) but it's not as bright & actually much darker violet to the eye - actually the colour of the glow.

Again this is in camera magic, but beats the stuffing out of plastic/LED blades for me.

Time for a bump! I've started working on my new Starkiller V2 and wanted to share some progress. After going over the saber with a brillo pad and some #0000 steel wool, I sent the pieces through the dishwasher with some oxyclean for the detergent. This actually worked better than I thought, and I ended up knocking the patina back with some more steel wool. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. Now its playing the waiting game for Trent's newest stencils. Here the saber is pictured next to AS's 2nd run 3 piece. This had been my V2, but I've stripped the paint off in preparation for converting it to a Kenobi stunt.

I would love to see how the Obi-Wan stunt came out! I’m looking for advice on how to paint a weathered, copper neck for my own V3 build, so I’m very interested in this project!
