Whatever normal size you wear for a jacket like a suit, go one size down. For isnrance, if you wear a 42, go to a 40. Or if you want, go down 2 sizes. There are short, regular, and long. Get a regular, since it will look better and be better to wear

Although I believe the coat Reese wears in the film is indeed the (L) Long...

Anyone know a place for the pants or a pair that has no back pockets at all so i can at least have a seamstress add one

Could have been. But, it should definitely be worn big. As for the next pieces (shirt, pants, shoes good luck to ya. The shirt is easy...sort of. Pants are needing more research. And shoes are well, hard to find

Which material is the best match for the shirt?

I'm leaning towards 3. I know many are saying the shirt is black and white striped, but here for example:

Sure looks like light grey and dark grey stripes to me... More shots in post #5

Ofcourse it could be an incredibly dirty black and white shirt. Hard to tell.

Where did you find these fabrics? I have been searching and have yet to find anything close enough to match. Nice find!

I found a white pair with the right pocket and I'm gonna get them and dye them grey with rit dye

Be aggressive with it. RIT doesn't want to take to certain types of Rugby pants or whatever you might have gotten. I've been through more RIT trial and errors than I can remember.

Pants were the most difficult thing for me when painting them, I must have studied them for weeks before putting the first bit of paint onto them. Once I did that I beat them down with a heavy sandblock, and walked them under my feet around my garage giving them a nice soiled look with the oil stains etc.

As for my pants, I found them at a Goodwill in the city. As for the accuracy or "84" status of my Vandals. I now own the 08 and 2015 pairs, so I've nothing to truly be let down about. Payed good deals for both and have been offered a hell of a lot of dough for my 07 or 08 pair. Whichever you say. These were actually a birthday present, but I didn't mind seeing as I can wear them more care free than my other ones when in full costume.

I found rhe same pants as shane posted on the first page. I dont understand why he said he got them at a goodwill store because the ebay link jas the same pics that he posted on the first page. First he lies about changing the straps on his vandals then he lies bout the pants. If anyone wants a link to the pants let me know

No my friend, the ones I have no I got at Goodwill. Enjoy the ones on Ebay, they are entirely the wrong color. Ps. if you'd like to see the straps changed on my shoes please let me know, I'd be happy to not oblige. But for someone on here since June, no doubt due to Genisys shouldn't be picking words with someone who's put almost three years of research into this costume.

I don't get all the hate towards ShaneHelms, aren't we here to help each other out and share ideas not pick at each others costumes :/..

Anyway i came across these grey pants they are almost perfect apart from the don't have any pockets but i could over look that, the elastic waist band looks almost identical to Reese's in the pic where he is getting the squib put on him, and the hem going down the leg looks good to...

Its a shame they are from a prison supply site grrrrr..

We all love to see something and the first pair I bought were the ones on Page 1. Then I bought the pair I actually made into my Reese pants which I found at Goodwill two years back or so.

Those look good Terminator Fan. I'd go with them if your able.

Awesome find on the pants from page 1, ShaneHelms! I have been trying to find a close match for a while. Do these have a manufacturer name tag in them?
