Here is my first prototype of the bag buckle. 3d modeled, printed in ABS, and painted. Probably going to weather it. It is all one piece, so it's just for looks, but if anyone is interested, I will make more and list them on Etsy.
Just a friendly heads-up that all talk about buying and selling is only allowed in the classified section or via PM, else you might irk the mods.

Well I've got some exciting things happening...

A couple seconds looking will show some obvious mistakes, like the small strap being threaded wrong, the complete lack of buckle, and the flap not connecting in the correct spot on the right corner. But overall I'm excited. I'm actually having them made by a bag company, so the quality of the work is awesome.
These pictures are from the manufacturer, but I should receive the actual bag by Friday at the latest, at which point I'll get a lot more photos.
PLEASE feel free to point out anything that looks incorrect, I'm already making a list!!

The colors are quite off. They sent sample photos, but I guess the lighting is different. Or maybe it's wrong in this photo, I don't have the bag in hand yet. I am planning to send samples of the correct fabric to them. Although I need input on that, since I don't have the swatch cards; is it the nutmeg color or the classic brown color of the duck canvas? To me it's looked like the nutmeg.

First and foremost, its not duck canvas. It's actually a linen canvas with a slightly different weave. I found the correct fabric in LA a while back, just enough to do maybe 3 or 4 bags. The canvas Jo-Ann sells is way off. Only found it in the "tan" color, which is actually mustard.
