The Shadow WIP

SOO... we were applying the 2nd test nose. I was holding one edge up(it was much smaller than the edge on the 1st nose) as Zoe applied pros aide, and a bit got on my fingers. Which of course got on the edge, which knarled it up and ruined the nose. So no nose in the pics

But the new cape is AMAZING!

It's been a long time since I've been on this forum but damn is it nice to see The Shadow getting some love. I'll actually be getting the components for mine this weekend.

Thanks much man! Very happy with how this turned out!
Right now here's where I am with mine. Could use a better hat. My coat is a six button, double breastfed coat I found on Amazon and the hat is a 3.5in wide brim fedora. My cape and holsters come in friday. Try to get a better shot of everything this weekend.

VERY nice! I suspect your coat is the same one I got from Amazon.

They're definitely different in fit and style, despite our anatomical differences. I chose this one for the silhouette it casts without the cape.

Yours also looks more period correct. I found one that was perfect, but was super pricy. The one I got was a hundred bucks, and while not perfect is good enough for now at least.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for and the price was really good at around $100. All that's left is to figure out the cape attachment since I'm using the black collared cape from earlier in the post.

Not sure if this is what you need, but here we were trying to work out Bela Lugosi's cape attachment. It looks like you might be able to adapt this system to work with a shoulder holster.

So Halloween was a bust. I couldn't get out of work for various reasons. But I was allowed to wear the costume to work on Halloween...

And my girlfriend is mad at me because the bottom of the cape got dirty as heck at work lol. She is not sure she can wash it for fear of shrinkage or fading, so she is gonna see about an alternative or just get it dry cleaned. Regardless she informed me I will NOT be wearing the costume to work ever again.
