Got one glove mostly finished. Going to have to add another row of velcro to make it tighter due to skinny arms. haha.

So, Cosplaysky finally got back with me, but told me I couldn't just get the jacket. This was their response:

Our site rules that your customers are only allowed to place your order for the costumes in set instead of pieces, , sorry for all the inconvenience.
We are unable to meet your request on only jacket for the Captain America Age of Ultron size XL"

You could try going back to them and saying you have a sizing issue with your current jacket. Based on what I've seen from other members, they give you the option of keeping your old jacket and they'll make you new one, that way you just pay for the replacement jacket.
I don't think they would let me do that since I already ordered an XL costume. It is an XL that I would be needing.

You could say a couple measurements don't fit right and ask them to make a new XL with some minor adjustments.

I was going to go your route and separate the sleeves from the body. Currently, my other XL is at the seamstress getting gussets added to the arms. I believe it will still ride up though when I lift my arms. I could possibly still alter it but thought I my try it on a new XL version.

Ah gotcha! Yeah well if it doesn't work out you should still be able to do the mod with your current jacket. It just may be slightly more difficult

Ive seen one listing on etsy, been debating between that or making my own. I have materials on hand to make molds and cast them but not sure if its worth it for just a couple pieces.

Yep I scaled ours to fit the cosplaysky suit. (It should still work for other suits)

They can scale them down, they're definitely too big as is. I got mine from them and told them what size to print them, pretty happy with how they turned out.
