The Office season finale..anyone else underwhelmed? **mild spoliers**

Usually the season finale for The Office is pretty funny and entertaining. And while last night's episode was funny, it really wasn't that great. Kathy Bates had a couple of good lines, and when Andy was outed as the snitch was pretty funny too, but that was about it. I wonder how this show is going to do with Steve Carrell leaving after next season.

It seemed like any episode, not a season finale.

The funniest line to me was when the dog barked.

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't some bigger tado about the video that was created with the smoking printer.

Carrell"s leaving? They should just end the show then... I can't imagine it without him.

Yes, he said next season would be his last, and NBC said that the show will continue. I think they should try and bring Ricky Gervais (sp?) on to fill the position. At least for a few episodes.

I think they jumped the shark a few seasons ago.

Didn't even realize it was the season finale ! Yup, normal episode.

There is buzz that Steve Carrell is considering leaving.

big office fan here..but I agree...ever since the writer's strike, it hasn't seemed the same. This season...a new episode here-n-there with rerun filler...that annoyed me...the season finale was just blah. They couldn't even muster an hour episode?

Ohh well. It was good while it lasted.

I have to say, The Office used to be my single favorite comedy on tv. I have found this season to be not only unfunny, but droll. I think next season will be it's last. It's just not funny anymore.

This. I really did love this show, but it's been terrible lately. I had to question whether it was a season finale or not. Everyone thinks it was just a regular episode. I guess the cliffhanger is whether Holly is coming back next season.
I watch every week hoping it will be better but am always disappointed.
