Maybe it's just me... but trying to pass off somebody who's almost 30 as an high school kid... it doesn't work.

it's gonna be a terrible movie either way it goes.. Where inching toward SW Episode 1 territory and from there it's really down hill.

I have never seen this yahoo either but that is fine, I prefer someone I dont associate with another roll. Plus since he is not a "big name" maybe they will not feel the need to have his mask off or very ripped during all the final scenes. I do think they could have picked someone who looks a little younger if they are going for high school.
As for the remake...Sounds kinda like when they rebooted Batman with Begins. That turned out well for most people.:unsure

I don't think Logan was in the running anymore as he signed on for another movie which would have conflicted with the start of Spider-man.
