i have never seen this guy in anything - british actor, okay, but....Hmmmm

He seemed okay in Doctor Who. He needs to lose that crazy hair, though. :p

@punisher: They're rebooting the entire Spider-Man film franchise.

Wow... That really sucks, Ive been waiting on a SM 4 to see the story develop more. Now its going to start all over again? So frustrating. Any idea why the only movies now are just remakes?

I think they should use him in a much better role!! When Saved By The Bell makes its premiere to the BIG SCREEN!

Andrew Garfield IS Screech!

First, there was actually someone wanting to see a fourth Spider-Man? Second thing, there was a story to develop?

Says the guy with a david bowie avatar :lol j/k

Sorry, I like spider man, :lol heck yea theres more to develop. Like introducing more villains and pointless relationship problems lol

You don't watch any films by Gilliam?

Less comics, more films.

I love Gilliam - but must admit I haven't watched any of his latest - stopping at Fear and Loathing. Was this guy in something after that?

Tobey quit, so did Kirsten Dunst.
I was looking forward to another round as well, I thought he was a great Spiderman. and It doesn't need a re-boot, but Batman was a success so they must copy away!
Oh well.

the scene from "so...I married an axe murderer" springs to mind.
HEED! lol
(I'll be surprised if anyone gets that)
If they make a bobblehead of the new spiderman, and have to make his head even bigger....it ain't ever gonna stand up without support lol
Johnny

The studio wouldn't let Sam Raimi go where he wanted to with the franchise, they didn't reach a deal so someone else came in and now they are redoing it all. Yeah, it is annoying.

I guess Hollywood moved onto the next phase:
"Crap! We've remade everything from the 80's, there's nothing left to remake."
"Damn! Well, best go to the contingency plan, remake the remakes, they pulled in enough money the first time around."
