The Mask. My outfit for this halloween weekend.

I have one of those 1994 yellow zoot suits with licensed mask.
For the past couple years, it was my "comfortable" costume of choice for the local parties.
This year, needed a new spin.
Since "The Mask" wore so many outfits in the first film, I had an idea.
I'm working up his carnie version.
It's not screen accurate by any means; just for plain ole fun.
My wife is still sewing the vest..but you get the jest-
I'll have black slacks, white tuxedo shoes, and a couple close-up magic tricks in the pockets just in case the occassion arises.
I can drink thru a straw pretty easy...wonder if I can blow-up balloon animals with the mask on.. :lol

The mask is the officially licensed one that came out around the time of the movie.
I want a back-up mask really bad...can't believe this one has not plastisized or whatever they call it.
The way the mask is formed, it fits my head really snug.
It never makes my skin burn, and the mouth is shaped in such a way,
that I can articulate the mouth when i talk..or get those wide open laugh shots. I usually drink thru a straw while out so I don't break character.
On the rear of the neck, it is embedded with:

I bought an eBay lot about 4 years ago when I was looking for a quick, cheap, comfortable costume to wear to a friend's party.
I spent somewhere around $40 for the green mask, a jim carrey mask, and the yellow zoot suit.

Annnnd as we were last night (yes, my wife has changed quite a bit these past couple years! )

I went as the mask last year. spent about 3 hours in makeup. had the whole thing professionally done. came out swell, wish there was a better foam latex mask option but i might do it again some time. the suit is from the movie costume that came out for adults. just had it tailored a bit.
