I got mine on eBay. If you need something in time for halloween I would say get the replica boots, but otherwise hold out until some real vintage italian boots show up. If that's you in that picture I'd say you look great already.

Yes, I am me. With the translator it is very difficult to speak and to understand the language, I sit down it. Me of vacations this summer where you records "for a few dollars more". I will send some pictures.

Very cool. I like your shirt, it has the rounded collar. I would switch the pantalones to a straight leg. Your pants look like the have a boot cut. Bienvenidos a la RPF.

Here some pictures more than we made for an it has that one sells here in Spain dedicated to airsoft where it presents revolver and a winchester. I believe that we look like each other a lot in the physique.

Please, can you to give the link of the boots here?. thank you premature.

Congratulations to you both, on excellent Clint costumes....I love to see when folks use ingenuity to solve costuming issues. I really like the iconic MWNN character, and would love to do one myself, but I'll be the first to admit (bluntly) that I'm too fat to pull it off (looking more like Eli Wallach at this stage of my life--that's why my Snape is on hold--because I love eating more than costuming, lol).

Anyway, my wife says I gotta slim down before next year, so who knows....if I go this route (and not Preacher from Pale Rider), your build thread will definitely be an awesome tutorial!

I was in American Eagle today and found a shirt that would work if anyone is looking, probably just needs some different buttons. I'm including the tag so you can find one.

Thanks for that, dbuck. It's funny, but I still find myself searching for similar style shirts whenever I'm shopping. Lol.

I'm a huge fan of TMWNN and Clint westerns...Actually all Leone westerns. No other character is as iconic or easily recognised as TMWNN tho... nice job and good to see it can be done without being 100 home made. Especially nice touch on the cigar. I tried picking up smoking those little cigars when younger because of this character. Thankfully for my health, I never really got the taste for them.
I am wondering, do we know for sure the shirt is striped.. is it cannon?
I know in many shots it does appear to be a small stripe, but as mentioned is it an artifact of filming since in the stills I have seen the shirt seems to always appear to be a more traditional broadcloth style unbleached cotton, lightly died blue. That would have been common cloth for the film period, and possibly even fairly common in the filming period in Italy. I'm thinking something like this 1920's English Broadcloth levis-chambray-main-vintage.jpg. The pattern in the weave in the stills, like the 2nd (and small one) in the 1st page post would seem to be this only lighter coloring.

I'm also curious where that image capture showing the snakes on the Colt handle in the holster is from. (obviously not TGTBTU)

100% its a railroad hickory stripe, no question. As for the picture, I'm not sure which one you are referring to, but Clint used the sane grips from his Rawhide days. He kept them and would swap them onto the guns he used in many movies.

great job! Im currently looking for a hat like this for daily wear. what is the actual style of it called so I can do some searching?

The one I bought is a vintage Stetson that I got on eBay. I just checked it and it doesnt have a name or style number on it, other than Stetson. Sorry, Chris. It took me forever to find mine, especially in my size.

I actually got a hat, same size (because my size wasn't available for a similar price) with a hat band off of the 'bay to do the same thing, on a hysterical whim, reading this thread a few nights ago.:lol

Got me looking into doing a Tuco 'showdown' outfit to compliment this thread.;)

I always keep my eye out for shirts and today was in Old Navy with the wife.
Found two okay shirts, not the best but certainly good options.

Just came across this thread by accident, thought you all might enjoy this page. Found some really good posts here on RFP for Stargate. Firefly and other great costumes.
Most of my stuff is Cowboy Action Shooting related so this is my 2009 Blondie from GBU, and I did most of the Tuco costume for my buddy too.

Wish this thread was around when I started mine, it has many of the same sources and methods that I found... took me about 3 tries to find a usable vest too!
