The Last of Us HBO Joel Thread

Just dropping by here cause I assumed people were probably already IDing Joel's clothes from the new trailer and I was not disappointed.

Yeah but the darkened dye over the chest pockets is not there and I'd sure love my shirt to have that removed too.

I wish that that shirt he wears in Season 2 was more available. Such is our luck when details are scarce.

Hopefully the rest of his wardrobe will be available by the time the show premieres.

Considering the costume designer was confirming brands and models while Season 1 was still airing and a lot of us still managed to get our hands on pretty much everything, I'm confident Season 2 will at least be similar.

I’ll let you know how the dying process of the Mr. Porter shirt goes. Sucks that they are discontinued.

So this is another picture that was used for these black and white posters it looks to be the same screen it the trailer where he is teaching Ellie guitar but he is wearing a different shirt
 
I bit the bullet and bought another Mr. Porter herringbone shirt in the green - because I need it to be used to color match the Large I bought that I need to strip color from and dye.

Will keep you guys posted.

Any advice for adding a Nylon webbing onto a pre-existing backpack that does not have them? Right now I have to brute-force hanging my light with duct tape, and a belt loop.

I took my backpack to multiple sewing/stitching stores and they all said they couldn't do it. Two people suggested I go to a shoe maker.... is a regular sewing machine really incapable of completing this task?

Hello I think your would need a heavy duty machine to do it, I just feel like some places just don’t want to do it but I hand to do something similar and I hand stitch it if the material is really thick I would use a leather needle they’re designed to cut through material easier

Find your material, and yup, take it to shoe repair place. They’ll likely work on bags etc.
That’s how I got my Henry/Joel backpack modified.
 
Hi everyone.
At present, I finally got my hands on TLOU Season 1 4k Files, so I am diligently scrubbing through every episode, slowly getting together high quality stills of every inch of the show.
At present, these are the objects I'm trying to get photos of.

Please let me know if there is anything else I should get photos of.

It looks more like the one in the game with the leather buckle.

16oz Canvas fabric and real leather buckle.

Would there be much interest in this?
(obviously with the correct straps)

Production MOQ is 500 but the price would be between €60-€80.

I have received the revised sample. Still a few changes to be made but very close. I would need huge interested in them before going any further as the MOQ is high .

Damn, it’s unfortunate that it’s so steep - the bag looks absolutely perfect. Really appreciate you doing the legwork on this, I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
