Re: A Certain Trio

Tri-motor engines were radial, and though they do look a little WWI-ish, I'm not quite sure it's a plane engine... looks great so far though, whatever it is!

Re: A Certain Trio

Using the Tamiya 1275s, currently stripping out the interior. Still got to order the minilites and figure out how to source the lamps for the front.

Refuses to sand smooth, even though it's red putty. But, I didn't know red putty melts styrene D:

Re: A Certain Trio

Excellent. Try using good old filler from Halfords and using the red stuff for small holes etc, its what i use.

Looking good though, infact i might watch the film tonight !!

Re: A Certain Trio

I have got some proper filler, but I find it takes absolutely forever to get anywhere with it unless it's quite a large area. Need to see if halfords can mix up the proper paints too, RD9, WT3 and BU8. Halfords paints are great for plastic kits, leaves a perfect finish without any polishing.

Yep! This guy knows an A-Series when he sees one it seems :D

Just trying to find the right paints now that won't melt the plastic...

I thought they were a bit MOWOGish, but I'm a b-series guy.
