Since Orcrist is single edge, wouldn't it be more correct to refer to it as a 'great seax' instead of a sword?

Yeah, just talkes about the method of engraving...

I dont know, I have already a hobbit size sting and a human size sting... I think another sting would be too much...

I found a forum about Orcrist at The Ultimate Collectors forum. They are talking about possibly making the sword there to but hey they're not the RPF.

i made Orcrist out of a 3 foot long bolo that i bought at the local hardware store for US$8, i removed the plastic handle and carved a new one out of mahogany using a jigsaw, a bench grinder and a rotozip, i could have done better if my dremel was working. will post photos after the premier on the 11th and 12th

me too. though im trying to resist the urge to get orcrist. I finally got over it but then last night i went to watch the hobbit again and well, this is why I'm here on this thread :lol
