So I've been sculpting the Guardian from Big Trouble in Little China, I'm making it into a model kit, 1:2 scale. (I'm kind of guessing on the scale as you don't see it too much in the movie and to me it looks like it's about basketball size) I've looked around and haven't seen any really good accurate sculpts of it and decided I might as well do it myself if I want one.
I sculpted it in zbrush, looking at movie still and behind the scenes pics that a friend had. The original model from the movie was huge!
I got it 3d printed in 2 halves and cut the 4 tentacles that stood out separate. I put it back together so it can be molded and cast in resin. I decided after the fact to add a hold in the back for mounting.

Here is the finished airbrushed piece. I also made a base, the picture on the back of the base is a shot of the hallway from the movie where you first see the guardian.
