Does anyone read the titles?![]()
i think people assume that whatever's posted on this forum is an unlimited run. With how rare this cowl will be, I'm glad I got my hands on one. I'm sure your inbox is flooded with messages about this cowl.
Thanks, Prim. They really are awesomeI'm happy to share the first pic of the Reverse Flash color
Also, just wanted to say I enjoy watching your YouTube vids, man. There should be more prop-based shows like yours!
I was thinking of doing a similar finish as Iggy. My head is 21.5 inches and I tried squeezing through but stopped halfway hahaha
Was thinking of doing something similar as Iggy.
Anyone have more details/ tutorials about finishing BESIDES the superglue gel to attach the bolts? :lol
Like what black, gold paint to use, etc? Would you be making a tutorial, C?
Just got my cowl in yesterday and looks great! The way i got it on was using Iggys method. All i have to do now is install the zips.

This picture is just lovely. How's the fit? I saw a video of someone who bought a cowl and had trouble getting into it, did you cut a pet of it before putting it on where you'll install the zippers? Looks awesome, love the red eye effect you did, quite the nice touch. Haha
edit: never mind just read the comment above.
Fits good once inside it. I have a 23'' head and couldn't get pass the neck part, i think that is the issue most people have. Other then that once you are inside you are Gold and fits great with lots of room. If you have trouble follow Iggy's method worked well for me doing it that way.
Good luck on the zippers. They look great, but are a bit hard to install.
For the bolts, I used Chicago Screws like these:

I trimmed them down, attached one side to the bolt, hole punched the cowl, then screwed the other side from the inside to the bolt. It keeps it tight, and I don't have to worry about them popping off from movement, bumping, or the glue coming loose from the rubber cowl.
For the gold, I used an enamel paint I found at Michaels. The gold on the chest bolt is a different color than the ones on the ears by a bit. Perhaps the new cowl is more similarly colored.
