The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

Anybody have any luck lately finding TABIO socks?

I just ordered two pair from TABIO.

I sent an email through their website and they got back to me right away. I think a couple of the notes I sent in the past didn't make it through. It seems to me that they're still in the process of updating their site with pictures, etc.

They sent me an order form and it processed that way.

Long story short, the socks are still available. $18GBP a pair.

Thanks TABIO!

Hey guys Im new here and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this jacket:

Heath Ledger Joker Jacket Replica | The Movie Shop

looks nice from the photos but you never know. Thanks in advance!

Based on the picture and description, I think it's Utopia Base's coat. You'd probably be better off with Hello Cosplay (AKA Joker Shirt), which is both more accurate and cheaper (not to mention custom-made with your measurements).

Went to Psych and English dressed as The Joker today...Had several photos taken, and got tons of compliments. :D :

Sadly I didn't get to dress up yesterday due to the fact that I wasn't really prepared in time. I'm going to be ready for next year for sure though, I'm saving for a complete set of magnoli clothing and a sithcomaro jacket. I threw together some makeup just to see how it would look heres a couple of photos! ENJOY!!!

I'm starting work on my Joker costume finally, and I've found some good thrift store things so far. I have an overcoat, but it's dark grey. I don't know if it's too dark to dye purple. I thought about bleaching it, then dyeing it, but I don't know if the wool will hold up, and I'm afraid the purple will come out all patchy. Any advice?

Well bleach will destroy most everything so I use RIT color remover u can find it at most walmarts it works pretty well for most fabrics that are more fragile it won't make it white but will lighten it a ton for sure. Hope that helps!

Has taken a really, really long time, alot of correspondence and alot of back and forth shipping but I believe the day has finally arrived. The completion of the Baron Boutique Joker overcoat.

More pix to follow. Stitching on collar and cuffs came out spot on. These pics were taken in a hurry. More pics to follow, including the incredible back panelling.

If there is something missing from this coat, then I have yet to find it. We went over every possible pic, screencap promo pic and then debated every seam, dart, stitch to get this thing done and done right.

rberesh - if you dont mind my asking, what did that cost? I've been wanting to get one from them for a while, but wanted to hear from someone here who owned one first. Did you have it specially made (different) than how they normally make it?

I'm certain that they would be happy to use this new version as a template if you asked them. They seem to be quite receptive to having customers make suggestions to their garments.

Hi there,
I made alot of adjustments to their original coat. The cost was the same for all the adjustments I made. The cost was 349 and that included expediated shipping. I think I received the coat in about 3-4 day in Canada from Nepal.
All my alterations came straight from screencaps, promo pics, and touring coat photos. Happily use my name and request that you want the coat used with my template. They were great to deal with!
