I dyed Kwally's fabric after making it into a shirt. I used Dylon machine wash dye. I used a tablespoon of dye and that had quite an effect. If you use a powder dye I'd recommend using small measures to insure you don't go over the top on the first dye. Also a good proceedure is to make sure you wash the shirt before hand so it's ready to absorb the dye.

Been awhile since this thread was updated. I have some really great news for anyone interested. Baronboutique has a new Joker blazer (not shown on their site) that I helped custom design using every scrap of film footage,still photo, and touring pic I could find. Again, the one currently shown on their site is not the new one, but here's a photo of it.

Hey gang, I just wanted to post a quick message in here. I am not sure if any of you guys have seen my thread in the RP section, but I am working on a life size statue of Joker and have been slowly working on upgrading him. Special thanks to Haywire, General Frosty and Joker-Scar for advice.

I may upgrade the head when xtcofpain is finished with it, but I am trying to work with what I have. I have been very impressed by your makeup skills and costume choices, so any help would be appreciated:

So far, I am planning on updating his outfit with a Magnoli shirt and vest, a Sith Commaro tie, "found" purple pin stripe pants, and an eBay Purple coat like General Frosty's.

I am pretty happy with the shoes I ended up going with. It has become pretty difficult to find Soho Labs shoes lately, and I am ok with a pretty decent replica pair even if it isn't perfect. I found the following on Amazon and will probably weather them DARKER:

Just finished new scars guys! Did them with a core this time. Ran a set in gelatin, no test makeup yet. Want to try a set in the proper encapsulated silicone! The gelatin ones look great and have amazing edges. Will test apply when I get a free minute...

I'm thinking about doing a Joker costume for Halloween, I've found everything I'll need for my costume but the wig. I've seen a few on eBay etc but they really don't look all that good and it seem that there are no actual pictures of the wigs. Any suggestions? I'm bald so have to go with the wig option =)
