The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

And by popular demand, "crazy evil worn weathered jailed Joker" eyes. :confused I'm happy about these tonight...I'll wait until tomorro to see what I realy think of them.

Thanks! :) Next time I'll deffintly use the paint brush on the white first to show more skin under it. Then add the black to smear it even more. I think that way there will be the under tone of the skin (more), then the black smears over that (less black next time too). Then just overall weather evrything. I did the skin above the eye by tapping myself with a towel, so I think if I do something similar to evrything else it'll look more like the realy bad version after Batman beats him to death.

I love the weathered look now, I'm thinking of looking into a new vest now, one that fits properly, etc.

I had more skin showing (lol) under the black at first, but I re-did it so many times I lost most of that, and the black eyes just kept getting bigger and bigger. Thanks for the imput, if anyone has any other comments on how to improve, I deffintly want to hear them.

Oh! And now I'm looking for prosthetic scars, I don't want to have to mess with collodion any longer. (Little known fact, rigid collodion goes from being a smelly liquid, to a smelly gas. Don't get high off of it kids.)

I'd go a little whiter in places... the movie make-up is definitely a little caked on.

On a side note about the collodion- I think whatever solvent it uses absorbed into my skin when I used it. I could actually taste it in the back of my throat for two days.

I found some new pants, and shoes. The shoes need to be modded still, but I like the shape and will be better base to mod than my last pair.

Pants are good, I might need to get them tailored and bring the leg in a little. And dirty up a bit.

And, still working on the makeup. The new silicone scars work pretty good though. Didn't put any dye in the hair this time fyi. :)

SITH, I am digging the pants! What are they? Where did they come from?

Has anyone seen Indy Magnoli's Joker coat in person yet? I am debating weather or not it is worthwhile to upgrade from the coat I have now - which is very good. The only problems with my coat is that the color purple is too dark and the buttons are wrong - the buttons can easily be raplaced, but the color issue bothers me a little.

I thought about posting the same question, as much as I like his coat, I think I'd want a swatch before I ordered it.

Apologies ahead of time if this has been already discussed earlier in this thread but has anyone sourced a decent Joker styled wig? I dont mind if it's on the high end side and I would prefer to dye it myself.

Ill upload some pics when i get home from work. My wig I paid about $350 - you want to get a front laced wig. I have the same type of wig as Sithcamero, - you can see his wig in his pic a page or so back. Its an excellent wig. It took about 3 weeks for mine to be made but the quality is superb. I got mine light brown then I highlighted it with a small green tint. The problem with a lot of people with wigs is they think his hair is green throughout and its not its only highlighted with green

BIG UPDATE

I got a reply from Heath's makeup artist. Here's what he had to say:

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your e mail on Heath's makeup. Well first off while I applied
the white base coat which is Telesis Illustrator WHITE with a half inch
brush I would have him scrunch up his face, raise his forehead, furrow
brows, squint eyes tight etc while I painted the White. Then I used Black
Aquacolor by Kryolan around his eyes with a brush and then spray over with
Evian Spray he would shake his head and the black runs & drips. last just
used a Maybelline red for around the scars and mouth. Hope that help you
and good luck.

Best Wishes,
John Caglione,Jr.

And going by that here is where you can buy the white:http://www.ppi.cc/skinillus.htm

The black:http://www.kryolan.com/en/index.php?cid=109&mnu=32&id=87

The Evian Spray: http://www.amazon.com/Evian-Brumisateur-Mineral-Water-Sprays/dp/B000B1VU7A
And the Maybeline of course can be found at your local drug store!

I am still trying to find a lead on what was used in his hair and teeth.

And last here is a teaser of what I've been working on
