No you're not the only ones who care, I can't wait neither for the season 2 to start ! I can even see this green arrow team up with the league, he's got the right mix of comic book and "realism" to fit right next to Cavill's superman and probably who ever will be the next batman in MOS 2.

I agree. However, if they did use this green arrow for a JL movie, he would not be getting his own standalone movies (unless they cancelled the show as well), as people will not pay to see a movie about a character they can just watch on TV for free. But I'm ok with that. However, i think the creators of the show said that this Green Arrow would not be connected to any of the rest of the DCU. So while it would be awesome, I don't think it will happen

I'm not sure this version would ever get to a movie or tie in with the current ones.

it seems to be based in a world where there are no super powers so far. Unless the rumours of The flash come around then its all over for that.

I'd pay to see it as I love Stephen Amells version

they allready said that there are no superpowers in the show. they dont tie in to the rest of the dc universe, its a standalone.

but people change their oppinions so we will see.

Not rumors. The Flash will be on Arrow, and his appearance will be a "backdoor pilot" for a Flash TV series.

I swear they're building up to a JL movie by creating TV series for members that wouldn't hold their own in a movie (As much as we all love Oliver Queen, a movie of Green Arrow would likely flop) and then bringing them into a movie with the cinematic characters. It's ingenious, really... They get to introduce all these characters before Justice League without having to make and release movies, thereby speeding up the time table.

Oh, and Black Canary? Yeah, we've all met her in the show already, and it ain't Laurel....
It's her supposedly dead sister that was lost in the boat sabotage that stranded Ollie on the island for five years.


EDIT: Oh, and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) is just ludicrously beautiful.

Are you sure about this ? It would be really cool, as well as smart. DC seems to have a hard time with their heroes on big screen, but it works on TV, so they could jump from the MOS/Batman to a JL thanks to the TV shows. I don't think it would be a problem not having individual movie in between, fans would have followed the shows and average movie goers would enjoy a JL movie anyway if it's good, I mean how many average movie goers have seen Thor or Hulk before the avengers ? I'm guessing not that much !

I am glad they are adding some super-powered people, but I'm hoping that with the back-door pilot angle that he may be without powers at first. Which would be awesome IMO, as I'd love to see how/why he gets his powers. He does look a little young to me, but he is kind of what I'd picture The Flash looking like at that age.

I am also still holding my breath that they use this version of Green Arrow for Justice League, as I think it would be fun to see him interact with Superman/Batman considering his lethal methods...

Season two has a hot start. Now that all of you guys have recreated the bow, you get to break it and make the new one. Pleeaaassse someone figure out what the Riser and limbs are so I don't pick it for my new bow. I unknowingly picked the Red Stag for my new bow, finding out it was the base for the old Green Arrow bow. Ordered it about three months ago and still do not have the limbs. I am guessing I will be looking for another and do not want to select one that is going to be in great demand.

Just caught the latest episode. It's shaping up to be a damn solid series! Hopefully the flash will be just as good.

Kind of tempting to start working on The hood's costume...

That was on great episode to start the season 2 ! I wonder if there will be a change of costume to go with the new name ? I like the current one, but technically speaking, you can't rename a brand without changing the packaging and hope people won't still call it by the old name, that's basic marketing :lol I say keep everything but the hood and replace it by a mask of some sort. Would even be easier to shoot I guess !
