I always loved the Rad suit but had no idea about the smaller ones for forced perspective! Now its been pointed out I feel really daft for not noticing the bobblehead-like actor in the back of shot!

Don't feel too bad about it – unless you're actually looking at that part of the frame AND ignoring the actual scene that is taking place in the foreground, there's no way you'd be able to notice it. Like you say, the helmet is the real giveaway. Evidently they didn't down-size those!
