Hey Gang,

I just finished up this gray scale paint-up. Man, Howard did an outstanding
job on this sculpt. I think this has got to be my favorite of his sculpts. Well,
so far anyways. LOL.

Boris Karloff as the Bride of Frankenstein Monster

A 1/1 Resin Cast Bust

I really love this style, itÂ’s fun to try and make the character look like he just
walked off the silver screen. These are color photos of a gray scale paint-up,
not black & white photos of a color paint-up. ;)

For more info on how to get one of these outstanding busts contact

Thanks for Looking.

Wow.

That looks incredible. It seriously looks like a real person shot in black and white.

Ok, a real person in makeup. :p

That looks amazing. :thumbsup

The Grusome Twosome back at it again. :)

That paint job is absolutely phenomenal Jeff. Best grey scale painted bust I've seen to date. I love how you work the crevices of the skin, the cheek scar, the eyes - great stuff.

Howard's sculpt is incredible and Jeff's work really brought this piece to life. Somebody has to bribe Howard into doing a Bela Lugosi now ... ;)

Thanks for the Great comments guys. :)

The detail and textures on this bust are Incredible. Which any
painter can tell you, makes for a fun paint-up. B)

I had a lot of fun photographing this one too. With the mood
lighting etc.

Thanks.

I'm no fan of the subject matter but I recognise quality work when I see it :thumbsup

I wonder whether the makeup artists of the time actually used black & white prosthetics instead of going to the trouble of adding colour?
